who's a slack bum then?

Woah I just realised I haven't blogged in ova 2 months...I am sooooo slack!!! But yet I religiously read others to see what goss I can thrive on...I'm such a goss-a-holic...

I'm tired so this won't be a long winded blog...but just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still here! Still the same! And HIII!!

I'm so much more into Bebo at the mo than this 'ere bloggy thang...but I can't give it up...

Work has been busy busy busy...my days go so fast (which is good) but I get so tired by 7pm (which is bad). I'm down to my second to last training session in Christchurch at the end of this month, then the last one in Auckland in August and then I'll be a fully qualified PO! Wheewf...but man, it's just neverending...there's so much to learn...I never thought I'd be writing Reports for Court at all...who knew that my report writing skills learnt through Psych at uni would come in handy!!? At least my HUGE-MONGUS loan is being utilised to some extent!

I'm counting down till me and Rayds go overseas and hang out wid my bro for a while! 9 months to go!! I'm sure it will go fast...well I'll keep tellin myself it will anyways. We purchased absorbant towels that roll up really small to fit in our backpacks and expensive sleeping bags that roll up small to fit too...hopefully it won't be too hot in China, Japan or Vietnam so that we can actually use them!! I'm hoping in Korea we may actually get a bed with sheets!! Hint hint Craig!!!

Anyways it's past my bed time and some of us haveta get up early and go to work!! Man...how I miss my days off from working at the moooovies!! I even have to work this Saturday!!! How suck is that!? But luckily I get Monday off!!!

Sore butt

Yesterday a bunch of us went horse riding out past whatawhata way. And man does my butt hurt today...I've never had a sore butt from horse riding before...granted I've only been about twice before but never had I felt like I had just been repeatedly punched in the thigh/butt region. Painful...but worth it! This is the horsey I went on. Poor thing was sweating so bad after we finished the 2 hour trek up hill and down dale. Her name was Miriam. Apparently we trekked in an area where a part of TLOTR was shot? In a forest of ents?! Not sure if he was meaning that exact location or the trees were the same type...but nonetheless it was worth it!

I don't have to work till Thursday this week so I am catching up on all the housework that I have not been doing in recent weeks. So it's a pretty busy day for me today!! But I don't mind! I'm not at work!!

And ohmigod...

I joined a gym!!

yup...ME! Going to the gym!!

So far so good. I had my first consult last wednesday. My programme run through on the Thursday and have been twice to actually work out - yesterday and this morning. Not to mention I also have netball twice a week now too...so look at me now and hopefully what u see today will look at least a little buff in a few months time!! I just hope I can keep the motivation up. Rayds joined too and my friend Becs goes to the same gym and she joined me for a workout this morning. So having people to work out with may prove to be of some help in that area!

And then maybe I can handle any messy/aggressive issues that may arise at work!!

The low down...

Just wanted to let all my friends in blog land know that I am still well and alive! And I do try to keep uptodate with the goings on in your lives by reading your (somewhat infrequent) updates!!!! But it's hard to update when you're so busy huh??

What's new with me?? Well...not much really...been on a plane finally...to Wellington for training...back there again for a week at the end of the month...then Auckland and Christchurch after that. I've inducted my very own offenders...I have a caseload of approx 70 - and it's full on!! I'm already taking some back to court for non-compliance...so it's all good fun!!

One of my best friends had her 3rd baby (some of you may know her from such times as my Adult Toy Party evening!) The baby was her first boy, named Jackson...I had a big cuddle of him last night and he frowned at me the whole time!! But argh! What's he gonna do? It's not like he can get up and walk away yet!! heh heh heh...I'm so evil...but he's very very cute!!

I completed a 'Street Talk' course (defensive driving) so I am all ready to go and get my full licence as soon as I can afford it!! But I was thinking I may need to get a new prescription for glasses before I do so...cos I'm getting more and more blind!!

Well that's about it from me...nothing too exciting...not married...not pregnant...not going overseas any time soon...and haven't got a house yet...

so yeah! keep up with your updates everyone!!

Babies can wait...

So I wouldn't say I've been eating healthy lately but I did become a PO!!! Yay!!! I was told on Thursday just gone...I start training in about a months time where I go to Christchurch, Wellington, Auckland and even here in l'il Hamilton to train for weeks on end. Training takes about a year and I'll be situated in Community Work which is where I am now and it'll be a good start. Then after 12 months I will probably move on to other areas...very exciting. It brings us one step closer to owning our own house...cos of being able to pay off our debts and get us in a good position before we get a huge mortgage...joy...but really...JOY!!!

Nothing else much to write about...same ol' goin down. Have two toy parties tonight, had one last weekend and another next weekend...so pretty busy month!! Especially when the other toy party host is about to pop out her 3rd child!!

I'm desperate to buy a house...a NICE house, that I can be proud of...I really don't know why but that's what I want...that and babies...but babies can wait...

Eat healthy and become a PO!

'Allo dere! It's bin a while. I don't have to be at work till 9 this morning (well I have a meeting with someone at 9 so decided not to go until then!!) so I thought I had better update my blog since I seem to be neglecting it!!

Hope you all had a lovely New Years!? I and three others took a road trip to meet up with some other friends at a bach in Tairua but it ended up taking us 5 hours to get there cos we kinda got lost or rather we kinda thought we were going somewhere else and not Tairua...long story...but fun adventure!!

I've been back at work now for 6 days, and so far so good. Though I have a meeting with someone today to let me know what I should be doing to become a Probation Officer (that's the one at 9!) so I'm very keen to do what I can...She will probably tell me that I will need my full licence...so I guess that's what I should be concentrating on...more money to part with!! I just hope I'd pass!!

Am trying to concentrate on healthy eating (go the new years resolutions!) so far so good...6 days down...a lifetime to go!!! It's bloody hard tho I tells ya!

Hope all is well in movie land! I've seen lots of movies lately but only one at the cinema! Sad huh? Oh well...thems the breaks.
