Hello. It's been a while. Nothing much to report about really. But I'll give you the low down on the happenings as of late.

On Thursday I had a job interview for an assistant manager position at a jewellery store opening in Chartwell. It sounded appealing at first...but then the more I thought about it and the more I found out about it, the more I decided it was NOT the job for me! It would basically be a glorified salespersons job with the added job of increasing sales from your staff. Booooooooooooring...I've had enough of boring jobs with no prospects...

So yeah, if they call back at all (which I doubt cos I was pretty dull in the interview) then it will be a no thank you very much.

So yeah...then on Saturday we had Aaron's wedding. It was lovely. The first time I had met his wife-to-be (now wife!) and she was so gushy over Aaron I was surprised and pleased for him. They had a wonderful day as did we, until the end when our freakin ride decided he wanted to chat up the maid of honour until 1.30 in the freakin morning, when the venue closed at 12!!! So we were sitting outside in the cold, waiting, waiting, waiting - talking to the VERY drunken best man and getting grumpier by the minute! So to top it off, our ride lucked out with the the bridesmaid (tho he was tooooo slow in the process and needed to grow some balls) and me and my boy felt like such burdens!!! Pooooos!

Have decided to test out my vehicle, not to mention my driving ability and drive up to auckland for the first time ever by myself on wednesday night after work to stay in my boy's hotel room for the night (as he's been working in Dorkland for the past 2 weeks, with 2 more weeks to go). So wish me luck with that! I just hope I can find my way home - as he is a love and will meet me in Mercer on the way up...I will let you all know how I go!

Also going up again on Friday to do some shopping with one of my closest friends. We haven't hung out just the two of us like this in years, so I am looking forward to it just for that reason. As my funds are quite lacking and I won't be able to do much more than window shop!

Well, I spose I should go back to work really...C'ya'll later!

Meet Leigh...and Leigh (two very strangelittlegirls)

I don' t know what I want. Well I do know I want the best of both worlds. I want the Rialto world sometimes then other times I don't. I want a new job world sometimes then other times I don't. I'm of two minds. I usually am of two minds about everything! I appreciate the fact that my bosses love me (well I believe they do anyways) and wouldn't want me to leave and want me to stick around on the slim chance I could go further when the new cinema opens up...however I think I'm way too bored. I don't seem to be able to use my mind enough here. It's like "I've conquered all there is to learn...now what?" "I've finished everything I was supposed to do today in the first half an hour...now what?" "I can't stand working with some of the staff due to 'weirdo' and 'laziness' issues...now what?"...I don't have a great say in pretty much anything that goes on at Rialts but if I did...would I be satisfied? I want to leave because I know I can do more, and be utilised more, and appreciated more...but I don't want to leave because I love the people, I know what I'm doing, I'm one of the bosses and there's the chance in like 6 months of being promoted...

Any help is much appreciated! Comments welcome.

money money money

I'm kinda excited...on Saturday me and one of my business partners M are hosting an adult toy party to approximately 30 women. Two hens nights combined. Really cool. I'm hoping that we sell lots and lots and make hundreds of dollars. That would be nice...even if half of them bought something it would be great. We have even added an incentive. If someone spends over $100 they get a free gift of their choice up to a certain amount. So fingers crossed!

And not only are they having us as their toy consultants. They are having a hypnotist show from our lovely hypnotist Glyndwr too. So even more money honey!!

Hypnotist shows are a great idea for something different for a staff christmas party...so we are hoping that we'll get a few calls for that in the months ahead.

bleeeegh

Ok I've talked about teeth. Now I'm gonna bitch about skin. Why oh why did whomever made us give some people the horrible gift of bad skin? In this line of thinking i'm guessing god is a guy, cos really, what female would want to make other females go through the horror of waking up in pain with a giant bulbous growing on her chin?

So not only do my family have bad teeth, we also have bad skin. Well some of us and those who have, have mostly grown out of it. I blame my Dad. He supposedly had bad skin growing up, and still gets the occasional pimple. But man I'm 26 and I get zits all the time. It's freakin annoying. You wanna have nice skin cos it's expected of a female, and no matter what you do or no matter that you have a major event or plan coming up there it goes, growing in immensity. I'm just glad I have people around me who love me for me, otherwise I'd be screwed if they went on just looks!
